INGREDIENTS
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup cooked and mashed sweet potato
8 small cubes of boiled sweet potato
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 egg
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup diced apples
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt

INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and baking powder.
In another bowl, mix together the mashed sweet potato, applesauce, egg, diced apples, and water.
Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just blended.
Pour the batter into a greased 6-inch round cake pan.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool completely before serving to your dog.
DECORATING

Frosting: Apply a smooth layer of plain Greek yogurt over the top and sides of the cooled cake.
Diced sweet potatoes: Save 8 little boiled sweet potato cubes to add on top of the cake, close to the edge.
