How do I teach my dog to swim?
Wonder and I are planning some beach trips this summer, and I’m thinking about teaching him to swim. He’s a bit hesitant around water, so I’m looking for tips on how to get him comfortable.
Here's what we've found to work so far:
Starting slow: Let them get used to shallow water first.
Positive reinforcement: Use treats and praise to encourage them.
Safety gear: Consider a doggy life jacket for added safety.
